While I was in St. Louis, I attended photographer Kelly Manno's workshop on building your business. We were able to follow and shoot with her on an actual shoot and here are a few of my pictures! Many thanks to Kelly for a great workshop where I learned a lot!
I sometimes have trouble deciding whether I like a photo better in color or black and white. That's why when you buy a CD from me, I give you both options for each picture! So, which one do you like better here?
Yesterday I shot Emma and Jake's engagement pictures downtown, starting at Union Station and working our way down the 16th Street Mall. Since everything is still so brown outside, it was nice to be able to do an urban session like this! Emma and Jake will be getting married in January. I hope you like this sneak peek of your pictures! I had trouble narrowing it down because I liked so many of them! (Blogger is not cooperating with me and these pictures are in the exact opposite order of how they were taken! Oh well...)
I've been working on marketing to get ready for the next senior "season." I'm hoping to get an early start this spring and summer before the new baby comes! Here's a collage that I put together that I'm having printed as a 16x24. What do you think? You can click on it to see it bigger!
Since the weather was so beautiful today, Xavier and I went to the Littleton Historical Museum. Outside, they have two working farms in the style of what an 1860's and 1890's farms would have been like. Xavier loved playing in the dirt with sticks, looking at the animals, and chasing a cat!
I think this would be a great place to use for a photoshoot, especially if you like a rustic look!
(As always, you can click on these to see them bigger.)
Adison looks like a newborn, but she is actually four weeks old in these pictures! Adison was not so sure about being naked for her pictures and she let us know it! But we still managed to get beautiful pictures of this cute baby! She passed out at the end of the photo shoot--all she wanted was her clothes back all along :)
By the way, when I put together CDs of edited images, I include both color and black and white. For Nikki and Scott, I also included an antique toned black and white because I noticed that their house and Adison's nursery had a lot of brown in the decor. If you ever have any special requests regarding the editing of your photos, just let me know!
Adison, a beautiful baby I photographed about a week ago, was a referral from Lillian's mommy. Thank you! We mananaged to get a few pictures of them together. Look at these two (and look how Lillie has grown)!
