Shauna and Derek--Maternity Session

I met with Shauna and Derek yesterday for a maternity session. Their little boy or girl (wow--I admire their patience in waiting to find out!) is due in six weeks and they are so excited to meet him or her! We were able to take some photos inside the baby's nursery, as well as at the lake across the street from their house! Here's a quick look at a few of their pictures...




All I had to do was say "cookie" and their dogs looked right at me! I wish it was so easy with children...

The Worley Family

Sarah is a former colleauge of mine and she contacted me about a photoshoot for her mom's present for Mother's Day. What a great idea for a present! I know as a mother myself I would love that. Yesterday I got together with Sarah, her brother's family, her parents, and of course, the family dog, and we had fun capturing their family together. (click on any of them to see them bigger, but especially the family ones with 7 people in them!)


I told Jack there was a chicken inside my camera and here he is looking for it!
These two were so cute together!

Daniela

I can't believe that Daniela is a senior now! I've coached her the last three years and she is one of our most regular babysitters for Xavier. We love her whole family (by the way, you can see pictures from her little sister's first communion a few weeks ago here). I spent a lot of time laughing with her and her mom during this shoot yesterday! Daniela told me she was nervous for her pictures, but I don't think you can tell at all! Here is just a small sampling of your pictures...



I really hope Dani likes this picture as much as I do...because I got 23 mosquito bites on my upper body alone to capture it! (Yes, I counted...and I'm praying they are mosquitos and not chiggers!) Actually, Dani, you probably have more than me...sacrificing to get the shot...

Rachel

Rachel is one of those kids that I will really miss when we aren't back at school next year, so I was so happy to take her senior pictures before we move. My husband and I have both coached her in track (and football for Matt!) and she was a great cross country manager for me this year. She is also a state qualifier in swimming! Rachel is quite the tough athlete, but she looked beautiful in these pictures. I'm just getting started with editing, but here are a few to preview...









You might remember Megan's senior pictures from last year...she came along for a couple today too (and was a great assistant holding the diffuser for me!)

Brian and Sara...part one

This past Saturday, I photographed Brian and Sara's wedding. I have so many photos that I'm going to divide them into two posts! So here is a little sneak peek for them from getting ready before the ceremony, the actual ceremony, and a couple of bridal party shots right after. Hope you two are having fun in Aruba!!



The flower girl was ready before everyone else, so I got some extra pictures of her!

I love hands! This is Sara's grandma passing on to her a hankerchief that she had carried at her own wedding!
