Ideas for Christmas Presents

If you are looking for a unique Christmas present for someone, I have an idea for you! Below you can see some artwork that I have made using pictures of items that resemble letters. The pictures used below all were taken at my grandparents' farm. You could order the ones you see below or I could make a custom one for you with your choice of words and text. Colors and sizes can be customized as well!

Another idea for a personalized present would be to spell out someone's name. I recently made one for a wedding present...

I want to post a picture of the actual finished product so you can get an idea of what they look like, but waiting for the sun to come out! (I'm primarily a natural light photographer!) Maybe tomorrow...

You can order these as an unmounted print, a print mounted on 2mm styrene or a 3/4 inch standout (not requiring framing), or even as a download that you can print on your own. Please contact me for prices or with questions!

Brrrrrrr....

I'm back with the rest of Aaron, Katie, and Rylee's sneak peek! We met last weekend early in the morning at Main Street in St. Charles...and it was COLD! Like 38 degrees cold. But I think they did a great job of not complaining and not looking cold in the photos! And speaking of not complaining, Katie told Aaron and Rylee that they were not allowed to ask if we were done yet and promised them breakfast out and a trip to the pumpking patch if they cooperated...so I just kept shooting :) Apparently bribery works, because I love these pictures of them!

And I love how they make one another laugh! I have so many cute pictures of them laughing together!

This pose was all them...I came around the corner and they had themselves all set up!

Just one for now...

This is the briefest of sneak peeks because I'm still working!

But which do you like best...the color or black and white??

Jordan and his godparents!

We had a wonderful day today celebrating Jordan as a child of God on his baptism! His godparents are his Uncle Aaron, Aunt Katie, and Aunt Erica.

When we lived out in Colorado, I had photos of Xavier's godparents hanging over his changing table and we would talk a lot about who they were. Eventually, he knew exactly who they were even though we lived far away. So I wanted pictures of Jordan's godparents for his room too! At his baptism party today, we did a mini photoshoot and here are some of the results!

Back to Shooting!

With this photoshoot, I'm officially out of maternity leave and back to shooting. But in reality, I've been shooting like crazy the past 7 weeks...I have 2 little boys at home to torture with my camera now! It was great to get out to Forest Park this evening for this family shoot though and turn that camera on someone other than my boys!

Tessa and I are almost related...I'm her sister's sister-in-law :) Tessa and Ted have another little one on the way and wanted to have some photos taken to capture their family of three as they are now before that new one comes along in March. Avery just turned four a couple of days ago and she was so much fun to photograph--full of personality and eager for me to take her picture! I had trouble narrowing these down, so here's a BIG sneak peek (and I have so many more still to proof!)

P.S. I will soon have a new blog/website with BIGGER pictures, but until then, you can always click on these to see them bigger!

Could Avery look any happier to be hanging out with her parents?! Awww...

This would be a really cool way to announce a pregnancy!

So Avery is just fine with having either a baby sister OR a baby brother...BUT if it is a baby brother, she HAS to have a "no boys allowed" sign on her room! :)

On the steps in front of the Art Museum

I normally love my black and white, but Avery's beautiful red hair just begs for a color picture!

I told Avery that she was the director of this picture of just her mom and dad, so she was telling them what to do :)

Hope you like the pictures, Tessa, Ted, and Avery!
