The Hirsch family

I wouldn't normally shoot on Thanksgiving Day, but this family was only going to have that day to be together and we were able to work it in on my way to my family gathering. They had not all been together for over 2 years and traveled in from Oregon, Wisconsin, and Germany! I could definitely tell how much fun they have together and how happy they were to be together for the holiday! Lots of laughter at this shoot!

We also did some engagement photos for Luke and Bryn who had been engaged for less than a week! But we will give them their own post...

Cousins

**Giveaway below...scroll down**

Tracey is in her first year of teaching, far away from her family as she lives down in Dallas, Texas. So when she was back home for Thanksgiving break, she really wanted a chance to get together with her family and take some photos that reflect her family's love and energy. We especially took a lot of photos of the six cousins and you can see just how much fun they have together.

The girls

The boys

And this would be the first time that someone broke out with some Beyonce at a photo shoot of mine. Look at the boys' faces! :)

Oh, and Tyra too?!
Isn't it so cute how little Olivia wants to be just like her older cousins?

The six cousins have their names on a brick in front of the fountain at the World's Fair Pavilion (their foot is by their name in this picture).

I like their shadows!

And since our shoot location was the site of the 1904 World's Fair, we'll make that same picture a little vintage...

I had a lot of fun with your family! Thank you! Pictures of the bigger group/parents coming later!

I love this time of year!

The past week full of family gatherings and time together has reminded me of the blessings that have been showered upon me. I'm so thankful for my family and the love that we share. And I'm so thankful for each one of you...for letting me join with your families to capture a few of those precious, fleeting moments in time.

Today we move on to Advent and begin preparing for the coming of our Savior. And life will just get busier and busier during this month of December. I'm busy working on

Forgetful

I somehow forgot to blog this session! I think that I uploaded them to facebook and forgot to add them here too. Amy and Eric teach at the same school as my husband Matt and they just got married this summer! It was great to be able to capture some of their first family pictures for them!

And I totally just fell asleep at my keyboard as those pictures were uploading! Guess it's time for bed...
