Photo Gifts

Just wanted to share this gift that I made for graduation presents this year! The pictures are from a nearby park and my grandparents' farm and I printed them like a storyboard on a 2mm styrene board with a linen texture. If anyone is interested in a personalized gift like this (with your own chosen word or name), let me know!

Lutheran High School Graduation Photos

The pictures from today's graduation are up at www.rachelhillphotography.zenfolio.com. I know many of you pre-ordered your pictures and I'll let you know as soon as those are in and ready. If you want a preview of your pictures or want to order more, visit this website. Also, I have a few shots from during graduation added in as well, plus your silly class picture and throwing of the caps. Congratulations, class of 2009!

The D family

I photographed little Lillie as a newborn and we finally managed to get the whole family together for some family portraits and 6 month portraits. I work with both Mark and Abbie at school and we were coordinating this photoshoot with our busy end of the year schedule and so Xavier ended up coming along (with Abbie's cousin to play with him at the park). Well, he had a complete meltdown and cried throughout their entire shoot and yet, Lillie was not influenced by his tears! Good little girl! I promise to never take Xavier to a photoshoot again!!!! Sorry about my boy... And on to their pictures!

Husker fans...

Lillie's daddy is the girls basketball coach at our high school. Here she is practicing her game face!

Ian

On Saturday, I met Ian and his family to take some 6 month portraits. I have to say, his mommy was so prepared! She had a whole laundry basket full of clothing changes, blankets, and toys to keep Ian happy. Ian had the biggest, bluest eyes and was happy to flash smiles at my camera! I had some trouble narrowing these down for a sneak peek, so here are quite a few pictures from their session...

More Storyboards

I played around with some pictures of Xavier from the last couple of days to show you some more samples of storyboards! (Click to see bigger)

You mean normal people don't do that?

Pull over on the side of the road, stick their kid in the middle of a field, and take their picture, that is.
We were driving home from Xavier's babysitter yesterday and I couldn't resist. Can you tell I'm a photographer?

Alexandra

Alexandra's family is very special to us...we have taught and coached her older two siblings for a number of years, her grandma babysat Xavier the 2nd semester of last year, and they have been supportive of us in so many ways! (Xavier even spent his first night away from his mama and daddy at their house last summer on our anniversary!) So I was honored to be a part of Alexandra's first communion on Saturday. Here are a few pictures from the event!

Alex, we pray that you continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ! God's blessings!
